YouTube – official site and how to change language and country (guide)
YouTube is at youtube.com and in the official YouTube app. You can change the interface language and the country for content in the settings.

- Open youtube.com in your browser.
- Click your profile picture, or the three-dot menu if you are not signed in.
- Choose Language to change the language of the interface.
- Choose Location to change the country whose popular videos and recommendations you see.
If it does not work
In the mobile app, the language follows the language of your phone: change it in the phone settings.
Videos do not play: update the app or the browser, check your connection and try a lower video quality.
